Be clear about which claim you are comparing
Packaging, detergent ingredients and the environmental impact of a whole wash are different questions. A plastic-free-packaging claim does not automatically mean a product has no environmental impact or contains no polymers. Avoid treating one feature as proof of everything else.
A practical change you can see
The immediate difference is the format you bring into your home: a light box, dry strips and no cap to rinse or liquid to pour. Keep the pack dry and follow local recycling instructions for the packaging once it is empty.
Your wash routine still matters
Use the right dose and load for your machine, and follow garment care labels. Rewashing clothes, overfilling the drum or using an unsuitable programme can undermine the convenience of any detergent. We do not promise a universal carbon saving from changing to strips.
Compare more than a green headline
Look at the delivered price, whether you like the fragrance, how the product fits your laundry and whether its claims are specific. A one-off pack lets you evaluate Melt without agreeing to recurring deliveries.
What changes when I switch from a bottle?
